It's worth noting that Alfonso Soriano hit three homers against the hapless Atlanta Braves Friday. The Cubs won 9-1 on fifteen hits while the Braves gathered only six hits.
Sean Marshall made it look easy as he allowed one run on four hits.
It's somewhat interesting that the Cubs have won five of their last six games, but don't get your hopes up. If the Cubs finish above .500, I'll win the Illinois lottery twice.
