The Boy from Tennessee

Rosy-cheeked right-hander Sean Gallagher has arrived from triple-A Tennessee and will soon find himself on the pitcher's mound, but only after walking in from the bullpen. Whether he'll ever find himself listed as a starter remains an unknown to the New Moon press corps.

At 21 years of age, the youthful Gallagher might be taken for a batboy, but he has a better curveball than most batboys. One can only hope that his pitches go somewhere near the strike zone. Certain Cub pitchers have recently found the strike zone to be an unsolved mystery.

Nothing in Cub press releases says whether Gallagher likes to slap or punch his own catchers.
