Crime Prevention

Law-enforcement experts have known for decades that the best way to fight crime is to prevent it from happening in the first place. Tammy Alexander has won the 2006 FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award for her achievements in community crime prevention. Alexander works for Fountainhead College of Technology in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she provides lectures and workshops on the subject of crime prevention.

Alexander is a master’s degree student at capella university, where she is studying education, specializing in enrollment management. She is one of the many students whose job requirements prevent her from attending classes on a traditional university campus. Capella is an online university that provides over 80 areas of specialization and 16 certificate programs.

Capella University presently serves over 17,900 students throughout the United States and in 56 foreign countries. It provides high-caliber academic courses and programs. Capella is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
