Appreciative Coaching

Sara Orem, Jacqueline Binkert, and Ann Clancy have co-authored the book Appreciative Coaching: A Positive Process for Change.

Sara Orem, PhD, is a member of the faculty at capella university, where she teaches in the School of Business and Technology. In addition, she operates her own coaching firm, where she implements her ideas regarding appreciative coaching. She lives in Oakland, California.

Jacqueline Binkert, PhD, is an executive coach who works primarily with teams and leaders.

Ann Clancy, PhD, operates her own consulting firm. She specializes in work with corporations, community organizations, and federal agencies.

Appreciative Coaching takes the position that groups and individuals succeed when they concentrate on ideals, achievements, and best practices. The book suggests that one can reach success by following a path though four stages--Discovery, Dream, Design, and Destiny.
