Rob Bowen, the Cubs new starting pitcher, has arrived from Padre land. He started the game against the Rangers on Thursday, and everyone thinks he did just fine.
Bowen got his first hit for the Cubs on Thursday, which also resulted in his first RBI.
Behind the plate, he played errorless baseball.
The cynics in Chicago may be asking if Bowen has a good left punch and a better right cross, but I've grown tired of that old joke.
Almost.
