Cubs Surge, Giants Fall

Sean Marshall and the surging Chicago Cubs will take on the hopeless Giants tonight at Wrigley Field in the second game of a four-game series.

The Cubs have many Giant killers on their roster. So by the end of the series, the remaining Giants will have to limp back to San Francisco.

If the aging and decrepit B. Bonds crawls onto the field, Marshall will mow him down like so much clover in a hayfield

Given the present winning streak, the Cubs can be heard making statements that verge on euphoria. "The chemistry is great, everything has been outstanding," Rich Hill said after his win on Manday.

Glad to hear you feel good, Rich. Just keep on throwing strikes.
