The Chicago Cubs jumped to a quick start in today's game with the San Francisco Giants at Wrigley Field. If the Cubs win, they will have won 3 of the 4 games in the present 4-day series with the Giants.
The Cubs started early, exploding with 4 hits and 4 runs in the first inning. The hapless Giants contributed to the Cub rally by committing 3 errors.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Cubs lead 8-3.
