After issuing a series of racial slurs, Duane the Dog now says he did it because he thinks of himself as being like a black person. He also thinks of himself as being an ally of black people. He is even fond of saying, "I'm black, too." If you find it hard to understand why a friend of black people would use language offensive to black people, join the crowd. No one else understands it either.
Then there's the question of how and why the Dog's son would record and sell his father's racist remarks. Dog says the boy must have a habit to support. Now that Duane the Dog's TV show has been suspended, Duane may also need support.
