He deserves it and he got it. Derrek Lee has received his third Gold Glove Award. The tall first baseman with the sure eye and dexterous hands had to surpass a gathering of strong rivals, but he had the reach to do it.
During the 2007 season, Lee played in 147 games, gave up seven errors, and recorded a .994 fielding percentage. He won the award previously while with the Cubs in 2005 and with the Marlins in 2003.
