Cubs management is pulling out all the stops to build a winning team.
Felix Pie is leaving Triple-A Iowa and returning to Wrigley Field for the third time.
In this instance, the motive is to fill in for the injured Angel Pagan.
But Pie brings plenty of good numbers with him. The 21-year-old outfielder is hitting .362 at Iowa, with 9 homers and 43 RBIs.
I hope the Cubs hold on to this young man. He's going to be quite a ballplayer someday soon.
