Maybe it was the cool weather in Denver. Maybe it was the amount of oxygen in the air.
Whatever caused it, Chicago Cubs batters woke up last night and hammered the Colorado Rockies 10-2.
The Cubs gathered 16 hits along the route of the demolition derby.
Ted Lilly, now 13-5, got the win, giving up only two runs in six innings.
The Cubs now trail the Brewers by half a game.
