The Chicago Cubs are still looking for an outfielder to catch and throw on Wrigley's new grass. It would be even better if he bats left-handed. Kosuke Fukudome could do the job, but no one yet knows if he wants to move to the USA.
The Cubs are also still looking at Brian Roberts, a switch-hitting infielder with the Baltimore Orioles. So far, Jim Hendry is only looking. At present, he won't say anything but that.
During the 2007 season, Roberts hit .290 and stole 50 bases. He has the kind of speed that Hendry is hoping to find with an infielder.
