Lou Piniella says that Jim Hendry is searching high and low for this or that player who will make the Cub lineup perfect. And if Lou says it's true, who are we to doubt it?
To take one example, Jim is waiting to see if Kosuke Fukudome of Japan decides he wants to play in the United States. Lou says he likes Japanese players because they work hard and they enjoy playing the game.
If Lou likes Japanese players, the editorial staff at New Moon likes them, too. Go get 'em, Jim. The grass at Wrigley Field is growing fast.
