The Arizona Diamondbacks now find themselves in deep doo-doo in their best-0f-seven National League Championship Series with the Colorado Rockies. Colorado has won the first three games, the latest being a 4-1 victory Sunday night.
The likelihood that the Diamondbacks will overcome this deficit is somewhere in the neighborhood of slim and none. The only team that has ever come from behind in that fashion is the Boston Red Sox. Arizona is not the Boston Red Sox.
Arizona's boys of summer need to start planning for a long cold winter.
