The attack of the small boats in the Strait of Hormuz has everyone worried sick. A tape of the incident has someone saying a large American warship is about to explode. The Pentagon released this audio in connection with its video of the Iranian small boat swarm.
The problem is that the Pentagon now says that it has no evidence that the threatening statement came from an Iranian small boat. It doesn't know where the audio came from. So why did the Pentagon release the tape to begin with?
Did it have anything to do with Bush's heroic trip to Israel?
