Ronny Cedeno

Cub infielder Ronny Cedeno looked impressive in the Venezuelan Winter League this winter. He batted .300, hit three home runs, and knocked in 16 RBIs. In the past, Cedeno has played at shortstop, second base, and third base for the Cubs.

The surprise in all this is that Cedeno played outfield for 12 games this winter, and he played that position well. This opens the possibility that he might compete for one of the outfield spots for the Cubs in the 2008 season.
